“JihadJane” Colleen LaRose and YouTube

New developments have come to light in the case of JihadJane.

The quick background is that she was a prolific poster regarding Islam and jihad at YouTube that members of YouTube Smackdown found, dogged, and had her suspended under multiple YouTube user names.  While most of us thought she was just a windbag, it turns out that she was actually interested being more than a keyboard vigilante.  She wanted to be a martyr. She, along with a bunch of her crew, were caught in Ireland before they were able to carry out their plan to assassinate Lars Vilks, a cartoonist that depicted Mohammed with a bomb on top of his head.

Irish journalist Mary Fitzgerald filled in a lot of missing details yesterday about the case after she obtained the 14-page indictment (definitely click that link and read – it’s fascinating!) against Ali Charaf Damache and Mohammed Hassan Khalid filed in US District Court.    Among other things, the indictment reveals that Colleen tried to raise funds to pay for violent jihad online — no surprise to those of us who knew her.  The images below are ones that we gathered back in June 2009 when she posted them to one of her many YouTube pages…(click the pictures for a clearer view of them.)

One of our group attempted to get more information, to find out if she was truly trying to raise funds and just where those funds would go.

She didn’t respond.  But now we do know that it was real.

How nice that YouTube provides the terrorists a forum to recruit.

Offensive or Inappropriate Videos @ Google/YouTube

This is a bird’s eye view of YouTube in action.  It’s very much like current American politics – there are rules – the guy with the bigger stick wins.  Got it?  From the Community Guidelines
“YouTube is not a shock site. Don’t post gross-out videos of accidents, dead bodies or similar things intended to shock or disgust.”
“Okay, this one is more about us than you. YouTube staff review flagged videos 24 hours a day, seven days a week to determine whether they violate our Community Guidelines. When they do, we remove them. Sometimes a video doesn’t violate our Community Guidelines, but may not be appropriate for everyone. These videos may be age-restricted.”
“You may not like everything you see. Some of the content here may offend you—if you find that it violates our Terms of Use, then click the button that says “Flag” under the video you’re watching to submit it for review by YouTube staff. If it doesn’t, then consider just clicking on something else—why waste time watching videos you don’t like?”
There are twelve videos on the playlist (Offensive or Inappropriate Videos) of a tiny little girl.  She is dead, a victim of a terrible war.  It is all one video shared and uploaded by twelve different users.
BE FOREWARNED!  It takes an incredibly strong stomach to view these.  You will pardon me I’m sure if I don’t embed one of them here.  The playlist and screencaps below are bad enough IMHO.
The first two on the list have this warning –
The third video requires one to confirm that they are 18 or over in order to view.  That designation was assigned by the user, not YouTube.
Two of the three were reviewed by YouTube staff and it was determined that they did not violate their Terms of Use, therefore we assume these videos, maybe all of them, are here to stay.  Perhaps this explains why so many remain on the Hall of Shame playlist above, and on YouTube in general.  Anyway – might as well move along – “why waste time watching videos you don’t like?”

Just thought you’all would find this – interesting.

shariaphobia central

Yeah!  ShariaPhobia.  It is what it is loonwatchers – the devil’s work.

And speaking of Sharia, I’m sorry I didn’t see this video before yesterday or I would have requested some very “special” flagging.  Checking the speakers list for tonight’s “Islam Will Dominate The World” tele-conference, the only pig-assmaggot they didn’t invite to speak was Awlaki or maybe someone from their sponsor – YouTube.

So!  Just in case anyone wants to flag the video anyway – go HERE!

“Don’t Be Evil” – yeah, right.

Just caught this while re-reading a month old link by Rusty @ Jawa – what YouTube must do about their “little problem” of supporting terrorists.  It has links about a Google summit on keeping extremism out of social media.

The woman wraps up (emphasis mine) –
“As somebody who attended the summit, I can say first hand that the emotions and enthusiasm at the conference were powerful enough to overcome many of the obstacles. Former extremists across the spectrum identified with each other in a way I never thought possible – one highlight of the conference was when a former gang member from LA taught a former Muslim extremist a new handshake.

That must have been the most worthless conference ever held. Folks, out of sheer frustration I am going to keep a playlist of videos up for flagging should you be so inclined. The f’n jihadi rats just keep multiplying – it is a sin.

(psssssst – THANKS flippin!)
would love that babe – not an islamophobe but no threat there. EVER!

This whole subject just leaves me –

shariatube now @ Google/YouTube

“YouTube has started taking down videos that are critical of sharia.

Up until now YouTube has done an excellent job making sure that people on opposite sides of various issues have the opportunity to discuss their views. But times are a changin my friends. Your still free to criticize Atheism all you want, you can say horribly offensive things about the Bible, you can blast European governments, or Israel, or democracy. You can do all that right there on YouTube. But don’t you dare criticize a legal system that calls for the killing of apostates, the degradation of women, and the violent subjugation of unbelievers. Don’t do it.

The sad part is that by sacrificing Western values on the alter of political correctness, YouTube is actually enforcing sharia.”

“don’t be evil” right? – just sayin
